Svart med lys brunt skum. Lukter nøtter, kaffe og mørke stenfrukter. Middels fylde. Sursyrlig smak. Smaker grønne epler, kaffe og solbær. Middels lang. Surølporte

Svart med tynt beige skum. Lukter røstet malt kaffe, marsipan og nøtter. Syrlig i munnfølelse. Sure solbær med noe kaffe i bakgrunnen. Lukter porter og smaker surøl.

Black with a thin off-white head. Coffee and chocolate aroma with some tart red fruit. Sour taste with some bitter coffee notes. medium bitter finish with lingering coffee and pure chocolate. Really interesting brew.
Lazy Sunday THT. Dark, light ring head. Sour coffee is a bit of no-no. Berries, roast. Does it matter? It’s not working.

Bottle shared. Almost black with barely any head. Coffee, sour red currants, dry cocoa, sour cherries, light earthy. Solid sour, no sweetness and light bitter. Medium bodied, dry watery finish. Not great.

375ml bottle bought at Vinmonopolet Aker Brygge. Shared with Finn and lmojoh. Fawn-coloured head diminishing over a near-black body. Lacing rings on the glass. Quite inviting smell of coffee grounds. Unbalanced taste of cocoa, coffee and tart fruit. Tart finish. Okay appearance and aroma, but not my kind of taste. (Tromsø 08.09.2021).

Spandert av Rune. Delt med ham og lmojoh i Bakken. Svart. Mokkafarget filmskum. Aroma av bål & kaffe. Smaken kakao & ultramørk sjokolade. Mye krydder lurer i bakgrunnen. Ikke min smak.

Bottle of Hoptimism. Almost black colour with a thin evaporating tan head. Aroma and taste are coffee and tart to acidic. Not much cocoa noticeable. Slightly thin body.
