Kronenbourg beer offers a perfectly balanced fresh taste, fine bitterness and the subtlety of its fruity notes. The beer is made from selected barley, water drawn from the underground source below the brewery and hops. The result is a well-balanced brew with a smooth, well-rounded bitter note that is ideal for all occasions.

clear golden colour, large, though not too stable white head; aroma and taste of a grainy lager with some herbal, grassy and more metallic, as well as cardboard notes; not really good lager

06-12-17 // 250ml bottle. From the bottle. Dominant sweet malty, corn, grains, lightly metallic. Boring but easy drinking.

0,25 bottle. It was a gift, original French, with a French inscription on the cap. When filled, a solid white quilted foam from a plain base lag is beautiful, the color is also very nice real gold. The aroma is cultured, fine malt, a mixture of fine hops, not very pronounced, but good. It tastes like a malt, acceptable, slightly sweet but delicately bitter lager. For large farms, this would be very good here. It’s a little watery, but it can be a good base drinking beer in France.

33cl can, limited edition for its 70th anniversary, labeled "Les années qui comptent" with a different year (between 1947 and 2017) on each can. Pours pale golden with a big, foamy, collapsing, white head. The aroma contains grain/corn, malt, sugar and some iron. It tastes very light grainy bitter and light malty sweet with a slightly metallic finish. Light body, watery texture, soft carbonation. More lacking in taste than actually poor.

Pression @ Hippodrome de Cabourg after winning my first horse race bet. Bought with my winnings. Clear gold, frothy white head. It's a straightforward, light pale lager with subtle sweet malts. Is what it is.
