Draught@Pub Winston Pienpanimojuhlat 2018, Pori. Amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is alcohol, some sweet malts, toffee and mild milky notes. Flavour is alcohol, fruity, toffeeish, mild gluelike notes. Lacks the harshness of a proper Malt Likka.

Nice amber colour, plenty of frothy cream-coloured head. Smells sweet, boozy, syrupy. Bit sticky body, decent thickness, some soft carbonation. Definitely some boozyness, light alcohol taste, but nothing too much. Mostly malt and hard bitter hop extract.

33 cl bottle @ home. Rated on 21.11.2020 Aroma has grain and sweet malt. Also honey. Flavour has hops, alcohol, grain and sweet malty tones. Highly grainy but still balanced and at least somewhat pleasant. Heavy.

A red-brown beer, a head is medium and blond. Aroma has sweet maltyness, banana, some lighter dried fruits, hint of alcohol. Taste has richness of malts, dried fruits, nice bitterness is drying the overally sweet beer, low alcohol. Full bodied. Nice effort here, interesting and tasteful.

More (faux?) Malt Liqour from jappp, yo. Aroma is malty malty, with sour milky yeast and fruit. Hazy opaque amber. Thick foamy off-white head. Medium-heavy bitter. Booze. A sour edge with syrupy sweetness. The bitterness remains throughout but is almost equalled by the sweetness. Medium-heavy bodied. Oily. Sticky. Average carbonation. Long astringent finish. Thick heavy boozy sipper.

Tap at SOPP2018, Helsinki. Colour is cloudy deep orange with small white head. Aromas and flavors: Ripe fruits, sweetness, some hops and malts. Heavy and sweetish. Simple baröey wine elements. Surprisingly good

Tap at SOPP. Dark amber colour, medium-sized beige head. Malty, odd watery fruity nose. Medium-bodied. Caramel sweetness, grass hides alcohol quite well. Sticky finish. Too malty for being a proper malt liqueur.

Mahtaja malt liquor. Sopp 2018. 10%. Poured dark amber in color with a thick off white head. Bready malty, bit stingy sweet. Sweet malty, bready, rye notes, molasses. Long warming finish. Full bodied.

(Keg at SOPP Helsinki 2018) The beer poured deep reddish amber and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had sweetness and booze. Palate was medium bodied and warming with medium carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, alcohol, glue, more sweetness, more alcohol and low bitterness. Aftertaste was boozy and bitter. A beer fitting for its style and difficult to drink.
