Part of the MEPS series. An American Double India Pale Ale that packs a punch when it comes to hops. The aroma and flavors will give you citrus and pine with a slight malt sweetness that finishes dry.

Resiny piney nose that get sticky as it warms up. Modest aggressively hoppy mouth. Very resiny. Juicy hoppy mouth. Medium full body. Big piney citrus finish. Lovely

Shared 12 oz. bottle. Clear gold with a white head. Aroma is hoppy and fruity. Taste is tropical fruit, grapefruit, pine, resinous. Bitter finish.

Ok, though bottled 07/07/16, I opened unexpectantly and was hoping for the best, still, after smelling and then tasting, yes, I shall proceed with the rest.
This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a bronzed to burnt amber color with a nice transparency about it. Carbonation could be seen rising at a nice pace. Quickly dissipating finger’s worth of white foamy head, messy lacing.
The aroma feels out some sweet citrus to bitter piney punchy bitter hoppiness. Sweet sticky malts lie underneath. Pleasant hop oils.
The flavor keeps everything from the aroma going like a race train running smooth and bittersweet on my tastebuds. Dry combined bittersweet aftertaste running into the finish, which is quite quick, (it’s a blink and you’ll miss that finish).
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a hidden sly sessionability about it. Carbonation feels good and displaces just the right amount of punchy bittersweet. Pure and dry.
Overall, now this was the DIPA I was waiting for, damn right, Knee Deep, there ya go, guys!

Pours amber with a large head.Nose shows pine, resinous hops, and sweet-smelling clean malt.Flavours include more pine and resinous hops as well as soft spicy and grapefruit notes. Also some light clean malt followed by an aggressive bitterness.

650 ml bottle. Pours amber with moderate head. Aromas of sweet candied fruit, sourdough, and light pine. Flavors of bitter pine, bitter citrus, dried fruits and resin.

A hazed golden ale with a thin lacing off white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp, nice and smooth, alcohol warmth. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity biscuit doughy malt with loads of resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp, light alcohol warmth, nice. On tap at WOB Chelsea.

22 oz. bottle, no date coding. Golden orange in color with thin lasting head. Aroma has sweet malt followed by mild citrus with low pine resin.
Flavor has initial sweetness then transitions into a lingering grassy hops in the center. The finish has a lasting pine bite that lingers well after the swallow. Biting bitterness that has a malty sweet base. I could see this turning to sweet if it sat awhile. Right now the hops are hitting pretty good. Enjoyable fresh which this clearly is.

650ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, yellow-ish, deep golden colour with average to huge, thick, frothy to creamy, more than fairly lasting, persistently lacing, white head. Citrusy hoppy aroma with a minimally soapy touch, notes of lemon, lemon zest, lime, a touch of cleansing agent (Meister Proper), malty background with almond touch. Taste is citrusy hoppy, a mixture of hop and almond malt bitterness, lemon; slightly soapy finish. Sacrifices balance for virility.
