Clean amber color with creamy head. Very nice aroma, hoppy, fresh, fruity; later, the animal side shows too. Good body strength, not too thick; caramel and toffee flavor, with just an acceptable touch of crystal malt; moderate sweetness; strong hopping, with loads of piney resins, reasonable fruity contribution; the final is a bit, pleasantly abrasive; long. It manages not to be chewy.
Excellent.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy orange with a small frothy off white head leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is citrus, pine, and resin. Medium mouthfeel with a strong spicy hop bite and light citrus with lingering dry bitterness. Alcohol hidden well making it easy to drink, a good IIPA from Knee Deep.

Bottle: Poured a coppery orange with carbonated dregs consuming the glasses edges, the head was creamy and off white. Aroma was a blast of citrus grapefruit hops and light malt. The taste was bold pine and citrus hops that livened the palate but was slowly soothed by the malt balance. The tongue was left dry and slight grapefruit remained.

22 oz. bottle, pours almost clear golden with a small off-white head. Aroma of pineapple, candied sugar, and some citrus hops - hinting at a sweeter IIPA than normal. Flavour of pineapple, mangos, caramel malt, candied sugar, leaving just a small citrus hoppiness on the finish. Too much residual sugar for my liking for a IIPA, but still mildly enjoyable.

22oz bomber pours clear gold with copper core and near white head. The first whiff of aroma was very nice with bold and slightly malt sweetened grapefruit and tangelo type citrusy hops. Wow wow. As it warmed I start to pick up a slight off note that seems to be in tired yeast buttery arena but sometimes maybe not. The taste is straight up bold citrusy goodness that borders on harsh and boozy but doesn’t actually get there. I get loads of citrus hop bitterness nicely rimmed by malt sweetened citrus hop flavor. Midway and into the finish the hops get more bitter to the point of being a little resiny with a nice pine hop like sap note and it also picks up a touch of booziness too. The only problem is a faint yet nagging almost fruit estery sweetness in the background that may or may not actually be diacetyl. I don’t know. This is a great try at the style as it hits it dead on in its big hops, bitter hops and resiny bitter harshness mixed with some booze, that is dead on IIPA. Nice job.
