Motueka takes you on a Southern Hemisphere excursion offering a kiwi-like sweetness, lime rind bitterness, with underlying tropical notes of lychee. ⠀
⠀
Motueka was another standout hop in this years selection. Often playing a supporting role, Motueka is seizing its opportunity to shine in The Bachelor. You may recognize it from @freestylehops Farm’s hop blend “The Bruce” which was used in our speciality IPA World of Wonders.⠀
⠀
The ability to work directly with a hop farm is a unique, special experience. A large part of Societe being able to produce such thoughtfully crafted beer is because of the relationships we cultivate with a variety of remarkable hop farms like @freestylehops.

Sample at the tasting room. This brew pours a clear orange-gold color with a medium white head that dissipates slowly. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Tropical fruit, spruce and hops in the nose. Medium-bodied with flavors of mango, pineapple, hops and toasted malt. The finish is fruity with a lingering hops aftertaste. Good beer overall.
