Bottle shared at high Wycombe tasting. Thanks to shig for thia one. A jet black oily coloured pour with a lasting dark tan head. Aroma is medium sweet, peanut butter, chocolate, marshmallow oak. Flavour is composed of medium sweet, sticky brown sugars, marshmallow, peanut butter. Warming alcohol. Palate is medium sweet, sticky oily, fine carbonation.

Bottle at share from Chris M: pours black with beige head. Aroma is chocolate, burnt marshmallow, coconut, vanilla. Taste is sweet, toasty, marshmallow (really was surprised it was not an ingredient). Pretty smooth for large size. Good.

Sad about the lactose, happy about the rest of the stout. I dunno if it's Alaskan coconut or those Missouri oak barrels but all anchorage BA stouts really hit differently, don't get your typical pastry blended cake vibes, more sophisticated, choco love.

375ml bottle pours out thick black topped with a small tan head. Nose is great big sweet chocolate vanilla coconut hazelnut bourbon barrel booze touch. Taste is more of the great coconut hazelnut vanilla chocolate bourbon barrel blend, very good.

Bottle thanks to Brian. Pours black with small tan head that lasts. The aroma is strong coconut, hazelnut, wood, vanilla, roast. Slick body, toasted coconut, hazelnut, vanilla, licorice, wood, boozy finish, enjoyed this.

Waxed, capped 375 from Tavour. Pours dark brn/blk with no head. Complex aroma. Nuts, chocolate, toasted coconut, vanilla. Quite full bodied. Flavor is very toasted malt, toasted coconut, chocolate of the dark side, vanilla, wood notes, a bit earthy in the finish. Then nut notes. Not at all dry. Heat is hard to detect. No coffee. There is bitter, which must be from the burnt malt. Definitely a sipper, not a quaffer. Superb.
