Ratebeer Odense Summer Gathering 2023. Black with a small tan head. Roasted aroma with vanilla, candy and hazelnut. Sweet roasted flavour with liquorice, chocolate, vanilla, treacle and nuts. A little too sweet with too much non-beer flavour, but still very good for an adjunct and lactose stout.

Bottle. Pours inky black, small fizzy black head, dissipates to nothing. Aroma is candy; fudge, almond joy, bourbon, heavy vanilla. Flavor is very sweet, light plus bitter. Full body. Nice enough, but too pastry for me

Bottle from SHIG at the Hazlemere tasting. Sweet fulsome aroma. Dark. Creosote. Thin tan head. Medium bitter for a few milliseconds followed by a big sugary sweet surge. Dark fruit. Thick. Oily. Average carbonation. Long finish. Good stuff indeed.
