Cask. Slightly unclear golden color with white head. Aroma is tropical fruits, slightly grassy, biscuits. Taste is grassy, citrusy hops, some tropical fruits, light toffee body. Oily mouthfeel, flat. A good Real Ale!

Cask in Bermondsey. White frothy head on top of clear gold. Soft hops on the nose and little else. Flavour is soft grain with a subdued hoppy finish. Casual. Understated. London.

330ml bottle. Milky, orangey, pale golden colour with average, frothy to creamy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, snow-white head. Citrusy hoppy aroma, notes of lemon, lemon tea, biscuity malty background. Taste is slightly bitter, citrusy hoppy, notes of lemon, lemon tea, a grassy touch; slightly thin and watery.

[ As Southwark London Pale Ale (LPA) ].Clear medium orange yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, light to moderate yeasty, earthy. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration, yeast bitter, earthy, pale malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20141206]
