He is a ruler, an overlord, a top dog, a crowned head. In the richly varied domain of prokaryotic microorganisms, Jelly King reigns supreme.

Rather than choosing between sour or hoppy, we decided to create a beer that would be both at the same time. Showcasing the aromatic benefits of a generous dry hop (Citra, Amarillo, and Cascade), harnessing the pleasing acidity of lactic acid producing bacteria (we use a 5-strain house blend), and coming to a bottle near you without a pesky 2 year slumber in oak, Jelly King is the fermented embodiment of having your cake and eating it too.

This limited edition Jelly King variant was conditioned on loads of raspberry and blackberry purée.

This vibrant variation of Jelly King displays intense aromatics and flavours of freshly picked blackberries, raspberry compote and Swedish Berries.

bottle. unclear red, pink head. lots of red berries in the aroma, esp. raspberries, bordering raspberry jam, is a bit sweet in the aroma. Flavor is really good, i get a discreee hoppy bite, tons of berries, and a sour beer that matches the sweetness from the berries. Not a crazy sour beer, but very flavorful and quite complex with notes of wood , berries, very sour beer and herbal hops.. Happy i bought it, even though it was crazy expensive to get in europe. for a sour, this is quite easy drinking.

11/IX/21 - 50cl bottle @ BBGG Summer Edition (Klaas & Liesbeth's place), BB: n/a, bottled: 17/II/21 (2021-1025) Thanks for sharing the bottle!

Cloudy deep ruby to purple beer, practically no head. Aroma: super fruity, lots of raspberry jam, blackberries, blueberries, very nice! MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: very bitter, lots of tannins, cherry skin, berries, raspberries, bit sourish, metallic touch. Aftertaste: rather dry, funky, lot of tannins, bitter finish. Not as good as I had hoped from the aroma…

Bottle in the sun from Cloudwater, 21st July 2021. Pours a rich cerise pink thick smoothie. Aroma is tart, loads of berries. Taste is raspberry, initially sweetish, followed closely with a large dose of tarter blackberry, quite a pucker to it, lingering sour, with raspberry and blackberry pips. Good, but not up there with Raspberry pure

Panda at home, thanks to Fergus, 10/07/21. Raspberry smoothie lookie with a light crimson cap that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is tarte berry fruits, good old fashioned fruit trifle aroma, balsa wood, berry pips. Taste comprises sharp berry fruits, balsa wood, berry pips, tarte red berry compote, cranberries. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light puckering kiss. Decent on point sour.

Bottle shared by Ryan: pours bright red with a white head. Aroma is raspberry, with just hints of blackberry, along with light mellow funk. Taste is sour without being too acidic, fruity without being too sweet. Excellent balance.

500mL bottle, pours an opaque dark pinkish purple with a large pink head. Nose is extremely fruity, with intense amounts of raspberry and blackberry -- like a sour berry smoothie. There's of course some lacto underneath. Flavour is likewise just as juicy and fruity, with truckloads of moderately tart raspberry and blackberry. There's some gentle lacto underneath, but it's mostly buried by the fruit. Really love berry quality to this. Excellent.
