On tap @Bottlecraft in Little Italy. Not quite clear, pale to medium gold, sticky lace. Onion & forest floor, little skunk. Taste is gentle, toasty, onions hops & orange water. Low perceived bitterness, mellow pith, onion sweetness. Frothy, low acid, mellow bitterness, quite juicy. Rather familiar & just okay. Rather have the OG.

Hollingshead draught, 12/9/22. Clear bronze-brass-golden. Small, white head to ring. Nose is sweaty with some pine and light citrus. Lots of mineral, earth, light toasted malt and various American hop notes ranging from pine to sweaty spice. Clean, no booze, no resin, no unwanted hop stink. Soft, juicy, not all that unlike Kern River Citra, tbh. Neither too juicy nor intense, with more biscuit, sweat, light pine and green spice. I still don't love PtE, but I like this sweaty DDH treatment. Soft, chewy, malty, dry.

Burk från staterna. Ljusguldig, en gnutta disig, med vit krona. Kexig, mjukt maltig, som en något mjukare och mer rundad Pliny. Men gillar nog the real experience snäppet mer. Fortfarande gott.

16 ounce can from Windsor brewery. Honey gold pour. Small frothy white head. Earthy malt aroma has notes of resiny pine and dank citrus. Flavor upfront is big bitter citrus. Notes of grapefruit, gooseberry and bitter lemon. Dank and hoppy, as expected. Remarkably smooth on the palate for such a hop centric brew. Piney, peppery hop finish. Outstanding!

16 oz. can, 3 weeks old, courtesy of Phill (thanks so much man!), pours a clear pale golden blonde with a small white head. Compared to regular Pliny, the nose is more pungent, with oodles of piney hops, light resinous oils, and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is still rather delicate like regular Pliny compared to more modern IIPAs, but the piney hop pungence is more powerful; there's an oilier mouthfeel, and just a touch more sweetness from the hops. More forceful, bitter finish, but still impeccably well-balanced. Lovely.
Canned 28 oct 2021. Near clear yellow, plenty of white head. Hoppy and oldschool, but a tad more modern than dinosaur IBU bombs. The hopping adds aroma, lovely bit of fruityness, some pine and a few twigs of grass. Still west coast.

On tap at Fathom Bistro. Pours golden with medium white head leaving sticky lacing. The aroma is dank and grapefruit. Medium body, dank, orange zest, grapefruit, nice lingering resin bitterness, enjoyed this.

Canned, ENORMOUS thanks Mowbeer for bringing this. Ryan, you ROCK! So... hooh... great expectations... and delivery from the US... What's it like? Well, not a 4.33 in the shape we got to try it I'm afraid, but still damn good. Huge aroma, sweetish, pineapple and peach. Dry taste, pineapples, peachs, herbal notes, ending with a big bitterness. Maybe not 100% in perfect shape, still an excellent beer by all means!
