Tap. Pours Black with a beige creamy head. Roast, vanilla, coffee and massive coconut. Some Good Roast beneath. Smooth, soft and Full bodied.

Ja, das ist ein Bier, das hält, was es verspricht. Neben der schwarzen Farbe und dem fein röstmalzigen Aroma hat es ordentlich Kakao- und Kokos-Aromen zu bieten. Diese sind recht stark, aber so gut in das Stout-Geflecht eingebaut, dass sich ein äußerst angenehmes Trinkerlebnis ergibt. Sicher bei weitem kein klassisches Bier, aber eine feine Spezialität.

Keg @ Black Door. Poured pitch black with a thin brown head. Aroma has roastedness, cocoa, sweetness, some milky notes. Sweet, round mouthfeel, milky notes, cocoa, coconut. Gentle and smooth.

Caña en Cimmeria 21..09..2018. (r27). Color negro intenso con espuma beige. Sabores maltosos tostados con toques de cacaos apreciables. Cuerpo medio algo espumoso y cierta densidad fácil de beber, no muy alcohólico. Bastante buena para repetir.

Almost opaque dark brown beer, small pale tan head.. Smooth palate, decent fine minerally carbonation. Smooth and airy dark malts, nicely sweet. A little dark chocolate and a lot of coconut. Mild coconut milk. Trace of coffee liqueur. Dark fruits underneath. Smooth finish. A good one from Thornbridge and I hope they have some spare Bourbon barrels to age some of this.
