01-03-19 // bottle from Getränke Hoffmann Berlin. Clear, crystal-cear golden. White head. Nose typical Weizen like. Clean and crisp flavour but with a strong hefeweizen aroma aswell. Acutally a really good Kristall in my opinion.

Bottle. Clear golden color with white head. Aroma is wheat, citrus (it was served with a lemon, though), mild grains. Taste is wheat, citrus, bubblegum, a bit artificial. Silky mouthfeel with big-bubbled carbonation. Decent for a Kristallweizen.

Wow. A top 50 kristalweizen is not much better than a bottom 50 kristalweizen beer... Light malt and some light esters. Clean finish. Bottle.

Bottle from Sandersput, Ninove. Shared with Anke.
Pours clear golden/yellow with a thinning, foamy, white head; no lacing. The aroma contains banana, apple, honey, citrus, grain & wheat, and (alas) some hints of 'wet cloth' or dishwater. It tastes light malty sweet, honey notes, light to medium grainy bitter and very light wheaty sour. Shortish grainy, bit wheaty finish. Light body, watery texture, fizzy carbonation. Quenching, better than a regular Pale Lager for that matter, too bad it had that off-note.

Der Hype der Kristallweizen war bereits abgeflaut, aber dieses Bier gab es 2017 noch. Es ist ein standardmäßiges Kristallweizen, dass sich angenehm trinken lässt.

From old tasting notes. Pale yellow gold color. Big white Weiss beer head. Fragrant wheat malt nose. Zesty lemon peel flavor is refreshing and true to the style. Tasty light hop finish is grassy.
