Burk. Relativt hög sötma, typ fudge och apelsinmarmelad. Hö och örter från humlen. Knäckebröd. Mjuk fin munkänsla. Stiltypisk, men något lättare och mindre gubbigt bångstyrig jämfört med en traditionell, vilket gör den fruktansvärt lättdrucken. Man vill bara ha mer och mer!

Draft. An amber beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of herbs, malt, and caramel, leading to a bitter finish.

(Draught at Spritmuseums Brygga, Stockholm, 29 July 2021) Reddish amber colour with frothy, tan head. Malty, hoppy nose with notes of orange peel, apricot marmalade, toast and nuts. Malty, hoppy taste with apricot marmalade, toast, nuts, toffee and a balanced citric, earthy bitterness. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Tasty and well balanced bitter. Nice one.

Burk från SB. Kopparfärgad klar vätska med högt stabilt smutsvitt skum. Doft av höstlöv, jord, säd, kola. Torr, nästan dammig, smak som doften med en lätt bärighet och avslutande maskrosbeska. Relativt stiltypisk och riktigt trevlig.

(Keg at Pikkulintu Kontula, 20210805) The beer poured deep amber and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had malts, caramel, earth and some sugary sweetness. Palate was medium bodied with rather low carbonation. Flavours were earth, malts, caramel, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet, malty and bitter. A way too sweet for a bitter.

Tap @ Mig & Ølsnedkeren. Clear amber brown with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, berries and honey? Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Sweet finish. 280721

Tap at Pikkulintu Ruttopuisto, Helsinki. Color is clear orange with small white head. Aromas and flavors. Nuts, chocolate, some fruits... fruity bitter. Nice.

Draught (Taps Beer Bar, Uppsala) - Darkish amber. Dried fruit, rye, caramel, bread and caramel in the aroma. Fruity and malty taste with notes of dried fruit, berries and caramel. Moderate bitterness. A decent enough bitter but would not stand out much back home as it is more like a bitter one of the 'regionals' would put out, albeit with some welcome 'freshness'. A nice one if you're homesick though!
