メインで使用したホップは、北半球からはアメリカ産のMosaic、南半球からはニュージーランド産のNelson Sauvin。アルコール度数はやや低めの5.5%に抑え、炭酸を強めに効かせることで爽快な飲み口のIPAにしています。パッションフルーツ、柑橘やベリー等のフルーツや、ハーブなど様々なアロマの要素がモザイク状に構成されていることが名前の由来になっているMosaicに、白ブドウ、なかでもソーヴィニヨン･ブランを思わせる上品な香りが特長のNelson Sauvinを重ねることで、果実感のある仕上がりのIPAとなりました。

The clear IPA with heavily hopped (especially used American hops) is called West Coast Style because it originated on West Coast of the United States. This beer's ABV is 5.5%, which is relatively low of this style, and the gas volume is higher than we used to brew IPA. We used two types of hop Mosaic and Nelson Sauvin. Mosaic hop, whose name is from mosaic pattern of various aroma such as passion fruits, citrus fruits and berries, and also herbs. Nelson Sauvin hop could added elegant aroma like white grapes, especially Sauvignon Blanc. The combination of these hops make this beer fruity and drinkable, but light bitter aftertaste is also key to this style.
