Bottle shared late night during RBWG 2015. Pours dark purple with a slight film. Hefty honey and ripe berry aroma. Big sweet flavor, lightly boozy, with lots of dried berries, grapes, moderate honey. Full bodied, lightly oily and chewy. Finishes with modest alcohol warmth, relatively dry honey character, some grapes and berries. Very nice mead.

Bottle during RBWG thanks to Brad. Pours a cloudy purple with no head. The aroma is strong berry and floral. Thin mouthfeel with strong jam, booze, sweet, very nice.

Bottle share courtesy of Dak, thanks! It pours with a deep dark purple to rosy red body. Nice. The aroma offers up rich berry notes, some earthy berry and a bit of sweet red grapes. The taste begins with rich sweet currant like berry notes that ramp right into a pretty rich nectar like sensation. As this moves to midway more and more slick sweet rich honey notes murmur to the surface. To balance out the rich sweetness are shards of tannin like fruit skin tartness that adds just the right amount of balance. Yum. This ends with a modest dryness that tempts you into another sip. Yes!
