Nice fizzy-creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet mineraly, coconut, sweet chocolate, minerals, toast, roasted grain, dark sugar, dark malts, hay, alcohol. Taste is slightly dry roasted, toast, minerals, coconut, cocoa, roasted grain, grass, bark, alcohol, paper, hay, dark malts. Medium bitterness, slightly watery and dry roasted mouthfeel. Fair enough.

Draft @ the brewery. Pours a black color with a small off-white head. Has a roasted malty chocolate coconut and vanilla aroma. Roasted malty chocolate vanilla coconut flavor. Has a roasted malty chocolate vanilla coconut finish.

On tap at the brewery. It pours a very dark brown color with a light tan head. The aroma is lightly acidic dark roasted chocolate with hints of coconut. The flavor is full with coconut, dark chocolate, walnuts...perfect representation of a German chocolate cake. The body is full and creamy with the nitro serving really allowing the flavors to shine. So good. Amost no bitterness. A real treat.

Nitro tap. Pours opaque black, large tan head, creamy and lasting. Aroma is roasty first, then hints of cocoa, toffee. Flavor is, OK, there’s the coconut, mega coconut, cocoa, lactose, roasted malts. Lightish body, but creamy. Light plus sweet and bitter. This is a good one. Drink it.

Pours with a dark brown body that supports a thin tan head. The aroma offers up spicy cinnamon, deep dark chocolate goodness and then a bit of spicy wood and booze. The taste delivers yummy chocolate flowing into sweetened dark roasted malts and then thin coconut nuttiness. These flavors are going very well together creating a pleasing sipping experience.
