Pours dark orange-brown with moderate beige head. Smell is malts with hoppy fruits, taste likewise, bit of resin, roasted malts, not as bitter as expected, sweet and a bit sour, hop bitterness mostly in aftertaste.

Re-rate August 26th 2017: way better than the first time I tried it. No infection this time. Decently malty, decently hoppy. Ok beer. -- Old rating: Dark brown color, full sized off - white head that lasts for a decent while. Smell and taste malts, a hint of caramel, dark malts, some sourness, a hint of hops. Average body, medium carbonation. This is bad, filthy stuff. 5-2-3-2-6=1.8

Bottle at Craig’s. Grapefruit and coffee all the way through, which is pretty much all I want from a Black IPA. Good stuff.

Bottle from Irma Torvegade, CPH - pours a dark brown verging black with reddish hue, with a medium tan head. Toasty, slight roasted malty, caramel, nutty, with nice hoppy nuance throughout. Good brew.
