Nothing exciting here but it drinks OK. Very light, bordering on watery but not quite. It may not be all-malt, but it's not as adjuncty as the mainstream examples it seems. Crackery malts. Detectable levels of hops. Something vaguely lemony in there. Pale gold color.

12 ounce can into lager glass, canned on 3/14/2017. Pours slightly hazy pale golden/straw color with a 1 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of big lemon, cracker, corn, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, light pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance of pale malt, corn, and light-moderate earthy hop notes; with great strength. Taste of big lemon, cracker, corn, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, light pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Light herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of lemon, cracker, corn, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, light pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice robustness and balance of pale malt, corn, and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero cloying/astringent flavors. Moderately crisp/clean finishing. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Very clean on lager flavors, with minimal yeast notes present. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, bready/grainy, and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.8%. Overall this is a delicious Mexican style adjunct pale lager. All around nice robustness and balance of pale malt, corn, and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink; with the mildly bitter/drying finish. Very flavorful and never watery feeling for the ABV. Very clean and nicely rich pils malt and grainy corn flavors; with nice earthy hop presence and balance for the style. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example.

Can, looks like pale lager and smell is that of pale lager. Yes, taste is towards pale lager but has some inclination toward an IPL, er maybe an Internationale lager? Just asking , hah if, hehehh, just barely. OK, so it borders between a premium lager and a cheap pale lager, so be it. . Not bad but as we progress: Starts to come across a little more refreshing in the middle. Just enough hops to let you know, it actually has hops; wait, they may be they're noble. That rating was from 7 years ago - now in '24, purchased reprise by tick mistake, this can says 'LIME? WTF?' this new can with lime, it tastes just about the same! Very consistent.

$2 can from Beer Run. Pours pale gold, small white head. Aroma is grass, citrus including lime. Flavor is corn, grass, lime, hint of sugar. Not horrible for what it is, but it’s not something I’d seek out.
