Saku Antvärk is a brand for people who appreciates all things made with passion. The inspiration for these brews were found in the storied history of the Saku Brewery and our many dedicated master brewers over the years, as well as the rapidly changing and developing world of beer. This is also evident in the brand name; in old Estonian, the word 'antvärk' meant craftsman – an artisan who was dedicated to his art and always put his heart into his work.
Saku Antvärk Citra IPA is an American-style IPA where only Citra hops are used in brewing, resulting in an easy-to-drink, hoppy IPA with a bursting tropical grains freshness.

33cl bottle from RIMI. Pours clear golden with a small, white head. Hoppy aroma with notes of pine and tropical fruits, some caramel and malt. Moderate to medium sweet with more flavour than expected and a quite pleasant bitterness. Fair enough and quite drinkable. --- Beer merged from original tick of Humal & Oder India Pale Ale on 27 Dec 2015 at 21:29 - Score: 6 --- Beer aliased from original tick of Humal & Oder IPA on 06 Mar 2019 at 20:20 - Score: 5

Bottle at home. Clear copper golden with off white head. Nice Citra hops up front, caramel, lactic notes, light grass and herbs, plastic, some very weird notes in the finish that are hard to describe but it’s like stale malts with chemicals. Under medium sweet and light bitter. Medium bodied. Good hops, too bad about the off notes otherwise this could have been a nice pale ale.

Bottle. Pours dark golden with whiteish head. The head stays for some moments. Aroma is citrus, strawberries, butter, caramel, slight puke as it warms up. Flavor is sweet, caramel, some hops, citrus, strawberries. Body is watery. Overall: drinkable, not very hoppy, little bit APA like. new version, citra ipa. Like it bit more +1 to taste, +2 to overall.
