Bottle from BiervanEijk, Steenwijk. Lots of dried fruits in the aroma, with caramel, dark fruits, brown malts, raisins, figs, yeast. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet with a light bitterness. Medium body. Smooth and complex, a dried-fruit-bomb.

Dark amber colour. Mild caramel, light earthiness, to me it doesn't taste anything like Belgian, and if Rochefort and Westmalle were involved, maybe they just provided a recipe, and maybe the brewing skills at Tre Fontane are rather mediocre.

330ml @ Ryan's shared with Alex (thx for the beer, man!) and labeled by him, too, lol. Appearance: a bit hazy dirty copper with a tan head. Aroma: fruity, some dark fruits, a bit sweet, dirty fruity notes. Taste: along the same lines. Overall: meh.

Bottle 33cl. Poured into a tasting glass. Huge gusher, I mean really huge. Hazy amberbrown colour, small fizzy beige head, mostly diminishing, almost no lacing. Riche aroma roasted malt, toffee, liquorice, kopiko candy, dark fruit, apicy notes, alcohol. Somewhat roughish taste medium sweet and slightly bitter, malty, coffee groundings, caramel, brown sugar, spicy notes. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, more sweetness, lingering roasted malt, good.

Bottle. Color: Dark ruby, light brown head. Aroma: Dark malt, molasses, raisins, caramel. Taste: Dark malt. Raisins, some cocoa and hints of roasted malt. Hints of nuts and molasses. Very malty with hoppy background. Moderate sweet, light bitterness. A little more bitterness at dry, almost a bit powdery, finish. Medium body, just below average carbonation. Ok Dubbel, nice complexity for this style.
