Keg at MBCC 2018 Green (session IV), 11/05/18. Black with a decent tan head. Nose is roast malts, bitter sweet chocolate, dried fruits, toffee. Taste comprises mellow roast, nutty tones, chocolate, fruit cake, raisins, dark malts, molasses. Full bodied, fine carbonation, drying close with balanced alcohol. Ok easy drinking no frills impy.

Draught @ MBCC 2018. Pours black with a brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, coffee, dark chocolate. Flavor is light sweet, malt, caramel, coffee, dark chocolate, some alcohol. Medium body, average carbonation, light sweet finish with warming alcohol. 120518

Nice light brown slightly fizzy-creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet roasted, dark malts, dark sugar, toast, roasted grain, hay, minerals, weeds, chocolate, lactose, oak. Taste is slightly dry sour-ish roasted, weeds, roasted grain, minerals, bark, dark malts, dark sugar, lactose, licorice, anise, oak, toast. Medium bitterness, slightly dry sour-ish roasted mouthfeel. Fair enough.

Tap. Black color with beige head. Aroma is petrol, chocolate, liquorice. Taste is petrol. Silky mouthfeel with fine-bubbled carbonation. Good!
