Dark orange amber. Artificial looking dense and persistent head and lacing. Taste of pale malt, crystal malt and a hint of succade and hops. Waterish and slightly metallic mouthfeel. From keg at Moloney’s London in Willesden London NW10 after travelling to a nearby shop to buy a price-reduced hairdrier and having to stop at the bar on the way back to the metro station because I desperately needed a pee. A proper working man’s pub. I guess I only could understand about one third of the sosiolect of the other punters. There was only keg beer in the bar. Unfortunately they were out of the Moloney’s Bitter.

Very nice looking beer, deep amber brown with a lovely, creamy off-white head and a nutty, malty aroma. Smooth and creamy with that same nutty, malty flavour, and an old-school bitterness

Half pint. Dark amber with lasting creamy head. Aroma of roasted malts. Very smooth texture which is the best part. Almost no carbonation. Taste is very weak of toasted malts. Deliberately flavourless but perfectly drinkable beer.

Mmm, god men kanskje litt ubalansert enn jeg forventet. Det var femtevalget etter at alle håndpumpe er viste seg å være tomme. Men god og autentisk øl, selv om det var litt mye humle NB som skar igjennom.
