Sample (thanks fonefan!). Black colour small brown head. Aroma is tonka beans/coconut with roast, some toast, mild floral and some liquorice tones. Flavour is tonka beans, some espresso coffee, cocoa, and dark chocolate too. Smooth and surprisingly easy to drink.

Frothy off-white good mostly diminishing head. Black colour. Heavy malty and hoppy aroma. Heavy bitter flavor. Long heavy bitter finish. Creamy palate.

500ml can. Jet black colour with minimally late awakening, average, thick, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, tan head. Chocolately, slightly roasty, dark malty aroma, notes of dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, mocha, hints of coconut. Taste is roasty and chocolately, dark malty, sweet-ish, nutty-spicy, notes of dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, mocha, some caramel, dark caramel, coconut, a touch of tonka beans; lingering, chocolately finish with minimally metallic interference, a minimally warming touch of alcohol. Creamy texture, smooth and soft, minimally cloying palate, fine and soft carbonation. Homogeneous, balanced, almost a bit monotonous; well hidden alcohol, quite drinkable - pretty enjoyable.

Sample, thanks fonefan! Black, small head. Aroma of chocolate mud cake. Sweet with full body and rounded mouthfeel. Caramel, syrup, coffee and lots of chocolate mud cake. Fairly low bitterness. Too heavy on cloying pastry.

Can from Beerdome. Black with a brown head. Aroma is dry, roasted malt, licorice, coffee and light cacao. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and roasted moderate bitter finish with a little warming alcohol. Oily. 190721

ABV: 10.0%. Clear dark brown black colour with a large, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, coffee, cocoa, cocoa pudder. Flavor is light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, cocoa, dusty cocoa, chocolate, chocolate - coffee, dark malt, sweet malt. Body is medium to full, texture is oily - creamy, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming and light alcoholic. [20210710]

16/7/2021. Can sample courtesy of the saxo, cheers. Pours black with a small beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, dark chocolate, coffee, liquorice, vanilla, dark fruits. Medium sweetness and light roasted bitterness. Full bodied, smooth texture, soft carbonation. Enjoyable.
