Home, Sour Home is our golden sour beer fermented with Brettanomyces yeast and Lactobacillus bacteria. It's aged in oak barrels with peaches, cinnamon, and vanilla bean, simply reminding us of homemade peach cobbler.

750 mL bottle poured, shared by Tcon. Thanks! Bright golden pour, mostly clean. Plenty of cinnamon comes though right away on aroma and flavor. Nice peach tart flavor, acidic, flavorful. Sour bite up front, moderate funk. Easy drinking sour as an overall. Another unique, fun, amd tasty sour from these guys.

Peach pie, or cobbler, or whatever. Nicely oaky front and sweet finish.

Backlog. MBCC 2018. Pours lightly hazy yellow with a small white head. Aromas of cinnamon, peach, macaroons, lactic acidity, vanilla. Taste has peach, citrus, lactic, floral, lightly herbal finish.

Draught @ MBCC 2018, Red Session
Pours hazy golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, tartness, citrus and funk. Taste is light sweet and heavy sour with a long dry, tart, citrus and funky finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

Draught @ MBCC'18 [ Red Session ]. - Mikkeller Beer Celebration Copenhagen 2018, Øksnehallen, Halmtorvet 11, 1700 København V, Danmark.[ As The Rare Barrel Home, Sour Home ].Hazy - murky medium yellow colour with a small, fizzy, virtually none lacing, fully diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, moderate hoppy, apricot - peach, moderate to heavy yeasty, stone fruit, fruity yeast, oak, peach. Flavor is moderate sweet and acidic with a long duration, tart, stone fruit, peach, peach - apricot, fruity yeast, funk, dry. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. Tap at Tip Tap Room, Boston. Color is cloudy golden with very small white head. Aromas and flavors: Dryness, some fruits, wood and sourness. Pretty good.

Bottle at Black Christmas 2018
Cloudy blond colour. Herbal aroma, sage. Lemony, perfumy, herbal flavour, wax, vanilla.
Weird but good.
