Demonstrating that one person's pernicious (and painful) weed can be another's appealing cider flavour, we infused this full-bodied cider blend with organic stinging nettles from our orchard. It deliver all the flavour with none of the sting.

Poured from 750mL bottle (2021 harvest). Hazed gold with small white head. Stinging nettle definitely come through, but don’t find it blends super well with the apple. Decent experimentation.

Okay light gold body and minimal foam. Kind of a murky honey-apple aroma vibe, soft nettle maybe, there's an awkward herbality to the smell. Taste is rustic and musty, slightly chalky, sweet apple tempered by the nettle which lends a burlap like funk to it. I'm not sold on it but it's not bad.
