1/10/2022. Bottle shared at the Torun GP beer share. From Marek. Pours clear gold with a small bubbly/frothy white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, fruits and grain. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness and body. Slightly watery, average carbonation. Not bad.

Klares Goldgelb steht im Glas. Eine leichte feine Perlage steigt zur weißen, mittel- bis feinporigen Schaumkrone hoch, welche sich ansehnlich stabil und gut haltbar zeigt. In der Nase finden sich würzige und leicht malzige Noten wieder - eher zurückhaltend, aber okay. Der Antrunk zeigt sich frisch, spritzig und überaus malzig. Am Gaumen finden diese ersten Eindrücke eine Fortsetzung. Der malzige Charakter dominiert. Dazu eine angenehme und passende Hopfung. Das ergibt einen guten und vor allem vollmundigen Mix aus leichter Süße, voller Getreidigkeit und milder aromatischer Herbe. Die Rezenz ist dabei sehr gut eingebunden und macht dieses Lager zu einem sehr süffigen Bier. Im Abgang frischt die Rezenz nochmal kurz auf. Danach folgen die bekannten süßlichen und getreidigen Malznoten. Die Herbe hält sich nobel zurück. Mein Fazit: Auch wenn der Name "Piestinger" nur noch eine Marke ist, ist es noch lange keine Industrieplörre und ein doch sehr angenehm trinkbares Bier.

Klare gelbe Farbe mit weißer Schaumkrone. Hopfiger, getreidiger Geruch. Geschmacklich getreidig, malzig, hopfig, schwach fruchtig. Leicht süß mit leichter Bitterkeit, leichter Körper mit sanfter Kohlensäure.

In Piesting wird schon länger nicht mehr gebraut, dieses Bier kommt von der großen Brauerei in VIllach, was fairerweise auf dem Eikett niedergeschrieben ist. Es ist auch das einzige BIer der Brauerei, das man im Supermarkt findet -das Etikett ist auch auf Italienisch und Slowenisch -also nicht nur in österreichischen Supermärkten. Es ist ein gefälliges, helles Lager mit einer angenehmen Hopfennote. Es lässt sich gemütlich trinken und (über-)fordert nicht.

Aroma of corn, grains, grass, some honey.
Tastes of grains, grass, herbs, some citrus, some honey.
Medium, slightly oily mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes bitter, a bit dry, hoppy, grassy, zesty.
Boring, but there are worse beers of this style. The nose is flat, taste is bearable, a bit more hoppy.
