Passt! 12/10/11/11//11

Bottle @ Bamberg. Pours clear golden with a large creamy white head and lacings. Grass and grain. Medium and smooth palate. Grassy and dry hop flavor. Some buiscuit and bread. Dry and hoppy end. Re-rate. July 2018: BA at the brewery. Soft, floral, biscuit and green. Smoothest and softest yet. Bam! 3,5 from Bottle 2010-4,2 BA 2018.

Bottle. Straw, barley malt aroma - light grass hops. Hazy pale yellow color with small head. Sweet barley malt flavor with a very strong straw and moderately bitter grassy hops aftertaste. Very nice palate. Excellent - a bottled beer that actually preserves the earthiness typical in this style.

Ceramic mug, frothing over. Spicy, herbal hop aroma. Fresh, leafy character with a spicy aftermath. Somewhat crisp carbonation accentuates the leafy dryness of the hops. A taste vom holz at the brewpub confirms this, except that sample was a bit woodier.

Draught at the brewpub, 5.0% according to the bottles. Served in a ceramic mug. Tan head, looks big and creamy. The beer looks hazily amber in the mug, perhaps dark golden. The flavour is good and malty with some nice white bread. Good bready aftertaste along with some vinousness or perhaps is it the alcohol. OK bitterness in the finish. Good, mild carbonation. 6 3 6 3 15
Bottle, 5.0%. Dusty, mildly buttery aroma. Slightly hazy yellow colour. Good stable white head. The flavour has a little citrus and butter, but is still OK drinkable. Distinct bitterness in the finish, but not unpleasant. Some aroma hop in the finish. 6 3 6 3 12
