Great White Bulldog Wheat IPA är en klassisk IPA som är brygd på vetemalt. Ölet är ofiltrerat för att få fram mer smak och aromer. Vi har använt humle från tre olika kontinenter där vithajen har sin hemvist nämligen Galaxy från Australien, Citra från U.S.A samt Pacific Jade från Nya Zeeland.

From tap. Pours hazy yellow to orange with a small white head. Aroma is pine and grapefruity to herbal. Bitter, dry and herbal bitter finish.

Bottle. Hazy, golden body under a dense, off-white head. Curtains. Peachy aroma with pineapple juice and a sugary touch. Malty hints in the back, and some alcohol. It’s medium bodied, semi-sweet, nicely carbonated and with tropical fruits in the flavor. Pineapple, topical fruits and a little bitterness. Long finish. Sort of interesting this one, but too sticky sweet and with too much pineapple. 150724

Pours hazy golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, wheat, orange, sugar, hint of pineapple and alcohol. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long warm, sweet and fruity finish. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

0,33L bottle (as Great White Bulldog Wheat IPA, from Drink Shop, Tallinn). Pours hazy golden with off-white head. The head stays for a moment. Aroma is fruits, berries, malt, peach. Flavor is sticky sweet, fruits, peaches, malt, some orange and biscuits. Finish is fruity-dry bitter. Overall: ok brew.

Draught at Gamla Masters, visby. Pours hazy, mate solid pale golden. Aroma of wheat. Hoppy taste, bitter and a heavy carbonation.

(Keg at Kitty’s, 20150523) The beer poured golden and cloudy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruit juice, citricness and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, exotic fruits, citricness, malts, grass and bitterness. Aftertaste was fruity and bitter. A very fruity pale ale. Almost like drinking a juice.

(Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival, 4 Oct 2014) Amber colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of apricots, orange peel, grass and gentle aromas of wheat. Malty, fruity taste with citrus, a touch of wheat and a generous grassy bitterness in the finish. More than medium body, with just a touch of sweetness. Fresh hop character, drinks a lot easier than its 7.2%. Quite nice.

Draft @ SBWF 2014. Pours a slightly hazy pale orange color with a longlasting white head. Has a fruity wheat malty hoppy aroma- Fruity wheat malty hoppy flavor. Has a fruity wheat malty hoppy citrus finish.

Sample at SBWF 2014. Hazy dark golden with a small white head. Nice and fresh aroma of citrus, mandarin, pineapple and orange. Also some hay and light wheat. The taste was similar. The finish was bitter. A nicely drinkable beer, I would like to drink this one in the summer.
