Classic, Bavarian wheat beer with yeast sediment at the bottom of the bottle. Brewed with use of the best German malts, hopped with aromatic Mittelfruh hops (from Hallertau, Bavaria). Slightly sour in taste, extremely refreshing. A lot of bananas and cloves in aroma. This is Hefeweizen!
Ingredients: water, wheat and barley malts: wheat pale, pilsener, Carahell®; hops (DE): Mittlefruh; yeast: SafBrew™ WB-06.

Clear pale yellow, no head. Aroma of banana & banana bread, dough, ripe apple, nutmeg, honey, wheat. Taste has sweet banana & apple over a honey-malty base, slight dough & white bread too; spicy bitter notes, a tad sour. Grassy & floral hoppy finish, more ripe yellow fruit, wheat & spices. Medium body, slick texture, average carbonation. Exemplary by Pinta.

Barwa złota, zmętnione, piana biała, dość obfita, niezbyt trwała. W aromacie banan, mało goździka, chlebowe. W smaku chlebowe, spora podbudowa słodowa, mało kwaskowości, banan. Piwo jest gładkie, dobrze nasycone, jednak odrobinę za mało rześkie jak na weizena.

23-08-20 // 500ml bottle. Post ride this was lovely. A full bodied creamy sweetish banana Hefeweizen. Light bubblegum. Low in the spices. Great.

Tap at Bishops Arms Östersund. Sweet bananna aroma. An easy going going hefeqeizen. --- Rerated at same place. 3.4 to 3.1. Really not sure why this got top 50. Sweet and oily end.

500ml bottle, kindly shared by djoeye. A wheat haze to a warm golden body, spotty lacing, low white head. Ripe banana on the nose, lightly spiced. Decent weissbier flavours of banana, fruity wheat and a bite of clove. Mid-sweet fruity ending, medium bodied. Okay version of the style. (PivotekaH7, Tromsø 17.09.2019)
