Keg at the brewery taproom. Pours rich brown with a creamy, tan head. Plenty of ashy roast, bitter cocoa, coffee. Medium bodied with average carbonation and silky texture. Ashy finish, dry, with some scorched earth, bitter cocoa. Good stuff overall.

On tap at Pure Project, pours a deep dark brown with a small beige head. Nose brings out roasted coffee and a hint of vanilla. Flavour is along the same lines, with light coffee beans and again a hint of vanilla. Dry and easy to drink. Nicely done.
