Bright reddish-brown. On the aroma, there's a bit of woodiness, hint of rum. On the palate, this is sweetish, not great pale malt, but it's okay.

330mL bottle, pours a deep dark mahogany with a small beige head. Aroma brings out bready toffee, a little caramel, and a touch of barrels. Flavour is along the same lines, with toffee, bready malts, and some barrels. Bread and toffee on the finish. It's really not bad.

Dark brown colour with thin soapy head. Aroma and flavour have obvious sweet rum notes. Also some dried fruits and vanilla. A bit too sweet.

Bottle. Pretty chestnut, creamy cappucino head. Dusty wood roast and earthy hop aroma. medium full body, mellow sparkliness. Chewy grain, vanilla wood, light fudge, berries in rum, raw coffee beans, fresh herbal earthy and grassy hops. Interesting, certainly a different balance than most other barrel aged beers.
