33 cl bottle. Pours darkest reddish brown with a long-lasting, thick, beige head. Aroma is smokey, beef jerky, banana, blackcurrant, blackberry. Taste starts sweetish, smokey, slightly pungent. Powerful and fizzy, developing into a bitterless long finish. Nice.

Thanks to AleRider78 for a bottle of this one, and third Innis & Gunn tonight. Pours a deep amber colour, almost copper with a big beige frothy cap, long lasting and with thicker soapy lacing. Big smoked wood aromas from the charred barrel. Some fruity malts underneath. The taste shows the burnt wood, but milder. Some prunes and other dark fruits show up. The rum is kind of inexistent, only showing off the charred barrel. Another easy-drinking brew from Innis & Gunn with the barrel character.

Bottle, 0.33l. Deep ruby pour, one finger frothy beige head. High retention, good thick lacing on the glass. Mild nose, a bit woody, some nutty notes, slightly herbal. Medium body, soft carbonation. Soft and pleasant mouthfeel, thick texture. Mild bittersweet taste, somewhat liquory. Nicely balanced aroma, malty, nice woody notes, herbal. Sugar. Mild liquor notes, rum, slightly charred. Medium lasting finish, sweet and slightly liquory. Overall, ok beer. Nothing extraordinary but not bad.

0,33 l bottle. Pours deep red brown with dense, light tan, quickly dissipating head. Aroma is malt and vanilla and plenty of woody rum notes from the barrel. Taste is medium sweet compensated with medium to heavy spirit bitterness. Body is medium, texture slick and carbonation average. Finish is medium long, woody bitterness lingers for a while. Decent and drinkable.
