Brown/amber. Aroma is caramel plum light earth with dried apricot and some noble hops. Taste is deep sweet caramel with a bit of warm plum. Quite smooth. A whiff of butter in the finish. Some hop bitterness as well. Not bad.

Bottle picked up from Sulzberger Bierhaus, Pffafenhofen an der Ilm and consumed at home Sunday 1st January 2023 about to cook a Dal Makhani and a Lamb Raan to have with accompaniments such as Jaipur Slaw. Listening to Keg - Girders. Pours reddish brown with a fast disappearing off white head. Caramel and toffee dominate, it's sweet but not overly sweet, simple but also very well done, a little chewy and sticky but this is nice.

Swing top bottle. Brown color. Malty floral aroma. Full bodied. Malty sweet, bready flavor with caramel, a hint of milk chocolate. Floral, even a bit perfumed. Thanks beerhunter111!

500ml bottle. Clear, red-brown colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Sweet-ish, dark malty aroma, notes of malt lozenge, a cautious nuttily touch. Taste is sweet, dark malty, notes of malt lozenge, a fruity touch of red berry jelly; soft palate, soft carbonation, almost a bit insipid.

"Kummert Bräu Doppelbock", Flasche von Cash, Schwandorf. - Dunkles Kupferrotbraun, klar. - In der Nase Rübensirup, leicht weinige Süße über dunklem Malz, Hustensaft, nur schwacher Hopfen. - Antrunk breit dunkelmalzig mit fülliger Malzsüße, die zwar gut in einen kräftigen Malzkörper eingebettet ist, aber doch zu stark hervortritt. Rosinen, Anklänge an Lakritz. Milder rezent, vollmundig, schwer. Im Abgang mild dunkelmalzbitter-zuckersüß aber wenig hopfenherb. - Nicht unangenehmer aber ein wenig eindimensionaler Bock, zu süß und ohne ausreichend Tiefgang.

Re-rate from bottle. Plum aroma, still a bit sugary, just a hint umami/leumes this time, pleasant enough jammy roast finish. Old Rating: 6 4 5 3 11 Bottle. Brown amber, creamy offwhite layer. Sunday roast aroma. Light meaty roast, mushy peas, potatoes. Medium full mellow sweet body. Sugary sticky caramel. Some vegetal notes, light berry. Sticky finish. eh.

Bottle. Deep amber color with white head. Aroma is cooked peas, caramel, breadcrust, sugar icing. Taste is caramel, cardboard, peas, intense sugar icing. Oily mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Not great.

Dunkel getreidiger, moderat herber Antrunk. Süßlich malzig, intensiv nach Karamell, die Getreidigkeit bleibt im Vordergrund. Weich würzig, langer, einen Ticken alkoholischer Nachhall. Gut. 11/10/11/11/12/11

500ml Bottle (7.9%) - Dark amber/light copper. Malty and fruity aroma with notes of sultanas and knäckebröd standing out. Malty and slightly bready taste with sultanas, dried apricot, caramel and rye bread detected.

50cl swing top bottle. (7.9% Abv) A clear dark amber beer with a mid-sized most good lasting off-white head. Aroma of breadish malt, caramel, raisins, spicy hops. Taste of mild sweet strong red malt, caramel, raisins, mild spicy hops, great!
