Winner of FIVE Great American Beer Festival medals, three of them gold, including our 2023 award for American Strong Pale Ale! Plus a 2024 World Beer Cup bronze medal for American-Style Strong Pale Ale! Our drier, decidedly “tropical” IPA that’s light on bitterness, but heavy on hop aroma, courtesy of 100% Mosaic hops. One whiff and you get super intense notes of passion fruit, mango, and lychee. Grain bill of just American two-row malt and a clean fermentation keep it simple and allow these hops to shine.

Tap at MBCT 2018 into a taster showing deep gold with a finger of clean white foam. The nose shows clean lime and light malts. The palate is light bodied and well carbonated. Very clean with a light maltiness and a mild bitterness on the finish. Drinks closer to a pale ale.

MBCC 2018. Yellow. Keg. A Theydon Bois whip cracking power rate. Clear gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Smooth dry palate, good fine minerally carbonation. Smooth and mildly sweet malts. Decent piney hop, mellow hop skunk. Light citrus. Light dry finish. A bit dry but otherwise okay. However, where have all the good Mosaic hops gone?

On tap at MBCC, Yellow Session, 6.5 % abv. Patchy white head leaving lacing rings on the glass. Clear, warm golden body. Promising tropical aromas. Fresh tropical flavours sustained by sappy citrus. Fine bodied with smooth fruity bitterness to the ending. Enjoying. (Copenhagen 11.05.2018).

Draught at MBCC 2018, yellow session.
Golden, moderate hazy body, with a medium, creamy, lacing, white head.
Aroma of dankness, fresh grass, tropical fruit flesh, passion fruit, guava, mango.
Tastes pretty similar.
Medium, a bit oily mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes dank, medium dry, medium juicy, with lingering tropical fruits.

Tasty! A lovely, dank and juicy tropical fruit cocktail. Very fresh and balanced to drink. Outstanding hazy IPA.
