Beginning of autumn 2020, we harvested a few hundred kilos of quinces from a nice mixed orchard deep down the Pajottenland; from the border of Gooik and Pepingen.
We macerated these “Kweeperen” for a good two months on young lambik from two different barrels and three different brews, of which one third was also grown and harvested in Pajottenland. With a minor addition of lambik for bottle conditioning, the final fruit intensity is 478 grams of quinces
per litre of Kweepeer. 100% 3 Fonteinen.

Flaska från 3F, winterpack 2021, drucken med ölföreningen. Gyllengul, disig vätska med medelhögt vitt skum. Doft av kvitten, äpple och funk. Pigg men inte vass syra, lätt funkig, fin smakbild med tydlig kvittenkarsktär. Mycket gott

Flaska från 3 Fonteinen, blend 4, 20 - 21. Lätt disig brandgul med vit krona. En arom som är något svår att ringa in. Äppelmust och lite ciderkaraktär möter Grumme såpa. Viss funkighet och druvstjälk möter redan i doften. Mjuk och fin kropp - nästan lite juicig. I smaken äppelmust, äppelcider, kvitten, skalbeska, även viss ton av mandelmassa. Svårplacerat, men det är helt klart gott och intressant.

KJUBCZ Chris-mas tasting. Served during ridiculously expansive dinner. Yummm. Sour grains, pear, prune, pretty sour, grainy and fruity and funky. Bit unusual sharpness for 3F but very tasty.

Bottle shared. Murky deep golden with small white head. Lots of deep funk, tannins, woody, quince, tangerine, soft wheat. Medium sour, light sweet and bitter. Medium bodied.
