This dandelion beer was brewed in April 2020.
Just the yellow flower petals of the dandelions were used, which attributes to a somewhat vinous flavour. Compared to the 2018 version we adjusted the malt bill a bit to make it less malt driven and more drinkable.
Malts: Pilsner, Melanoidin, Wheat Malt and Rye Malt
Hops: East Kent Holdings
Other ingredients: Dandelion flower petals and Myrica Gale.
Fermented with our house culture.

Pretty sour, lightly floral, herbal. Clearly a bunch of weed has been thrown in, but I can't distinguish it further than A SHRUBBERY! NI! Pretty light, definitely beery, and somewhat refreshing, but not really for me.
