On tap at the brewery. Aroma is fairly blackberry forward with some jammy notes and lighter tannins. Light pineapple and citrus notes with hints of oak. Pours a somewhat cloudy, bright purple red with a small, pinkish head that recedes to the edges where it lingers for quite some time. Faint lacing and small legs. Flavor has a moderately strong acidity with some light sweetness. Fairly strong blackberry notes with some light pineapple and citrus notes. Light jamminess with some light tannins and hints of phenolics. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a nice beer with a lot of berry notes. I like that it’s not too jammy and the berry character is well rounded. Acidity is fairly balanced as well. There is something a bit odd about it, but I can’t quite figure out what it is. It’s something that’s a bit more prevalent in the flavor than the aroma though.

Purplish, hazy, with a thin head. Berryish, very tart, has a light brett note. Super acidic, like all Rare Barrels seem to be. Definitely reflux time again. Not that utmost complexity, just deep acidic and acidic fruit as well.

750mL bottle, pours an opaque bright dark pink / ruby red with a small pinkish head. Aroma brings out prominent pithy, tart blackberries, with light oak. Flavour is along the same lines, with highly tart blackberries, moderate pithiness and light acidity (relative to some of Rare Barrel offerings). Not very complex or with much depth, but it's pleasant.

Tap. Pours clear magenta, medium pink head, nice residual and lacing. Aroma is huge blackberry, funky, stems, seeds and a bit of woody lactic funk. Flavor is medium tart, nicely fruity, light plus funk, berries and cheese. Really quite nice. Medium body, lots of carbonation. Xolid beer.
