Panda at home, thanks to Fergus, 14/03/21. Black with a tan covering that soon dissipates. Nose is tarte red berries, vinous, red grape must, dark malts, cherry skins. Taste comprises tarte berries, cherries, tarte blueberries, funk, vinous, dark malt base. Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, light drying close with a mellow puckering kiss. Decent approachable sour ... comes in well below the hefty ABV states.

Bottle at home from Brewdog online. An opaque dark brown coloured pour with a reddy plum hues. A dark tan fizz that fades . Aroma is nice mix of tangy sour fruit, smoky whisky , phenols, tangy woodland berries, some sweeter jammy berry notes. Palate is medium full , light tang, warming alcohol, light pucker, fine carbonation. Flavour is intense woody roast, smoky whiskey, phenols, jamme woodland fruit, jammy plummy notes. Super intense, boozy but hides it pretty well.

330ml bottle, from Brewdog online. Pours opaque dark brown towards black with a tan head. Aroma: sour, light roast, chocolate cake, dark berries, dark fruits, dried fruits, liquorice, light funk, oak, umami. Taste: elements of sweet, sour & tangy, with sour dark berries, sour dark fruits, umami. Medium body with moderate carbonation. Decent for an OW beer, plenty of character and not stupidly acidic for a change.

Bottled 330ml. -from Goblet Zagreb, shared with hrabren. Black coloured, small brownish head; chocolate, wood and light alcohol in the nose. Light roasted malt, medicine alcohol, rubber, burnt wood and some caramel with notes of berries and warming alcohol in the finish. Not so balanced.

Bottle via BD. It pours opaque pretty much black bubbly tan cap. The aroma is sweet - sour, toasty, rich, roasted malt, dark chocolate cake, tangy berry, blueberry, date, prunes, funk, oak, umami, liquorice, ash and earth. The taste is crisp initially, sour, tangy, then it's rather roasty, toasted, earth, tannin, oak, umami, some acidity, dried fruits, dried berries, splash of cherry cola in there, ashy, charred, coffee grounds, cacao, some alcohol warmth and peppery spice with a drying, toasted oak finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Pretty good fun. Dark sours are always a hard sell, but this is decent.
