Bottle. Dark brown body under a disappearing beige head. Aroma has dark malt, red berries, moderate acidity and mild vinegar. Taste is smooth, sweet malt, acidic red berries, wood and some tannin bitterness. Fine body and nice aftertaste. Very pleasant and balanced.

Bottle. Black with shades of red featuring a small and short lived beige head. Aroma of vinegar, red wine, blueberries and cherries. I hate to admit but „Kalte Muschi“ comes to mind. Taste of vinegar, blueberries, cherries, lemons and a hint of roasted malts and dark chocolate. Very sour and acidic. No bitterness to speak of. Low to medium carbonation. There’s some alcoholic warmth but it never ever even comes close to feel like 11 %. Well I‘m not too fond of sour beers and probably never will but I think calling this a Stout is stretching it a bit - even for Brewdog’s standards. Interesting for sure but I don’t see this justifying a future purchase.

Bottle, almost no head, opaque pitch brown colour, aroma of vanila, vinous and toasted notes and some dark fruits behind, hint of spice and acetone, flavor of dark fruits, vanila, some chocolate and hints of umami and dark bread behind a medium piercing fruity sourness and bit of prune sweetness. Really really good.

Bottle from Brewdog Lothian Road Appearance - opaque black with a quickly disappearing tan head. Nose - tar, burnt wood, molasses and a hint of soy sauce. Taste - some chocolate but mainly molasses, brown sugar and black rice vinegar. Palate - medium bodied with both sour and sweet through middle and finish. Persistent finish. Overall - complex, a little gnarly but very good.

Beeriger Beginn, mehr sauer als süß. Geringfügig röstig, dunkles Malz. Spritzig, Holznoten, weich würzig, zum Ende Nuancen von Alkohol, Kirschen, Blaubeeren, mittellanger Abgang. Gut! 10/9/11/10/11/11

0,33 l bottle from Goblet Beer Store, Zagreb, shared with Ogi at the Mini Tasting on February 15th 2021. Dark brown, small beige head. Weird sour-roasty combo, dark fruit, alcohol, rubber, wood. Tart, dark chocolate, dark berries, liqueur. Medium body, soft carbonation, moderate finish, slightly smoother. A bit messy but not a bad experiment overall.
