Bottle at home. Opaque dark brown to black color, full sized off-white head that lasts for quite a while. Aroma is malts, sweetish, liquor. Flavor is malts, sweetish in a subtle way, with a distant soft touch of raisins, light bourbon notes but also very subtle,light coffee, light chocolate and vanilla. Very well balanced. Very nice. Lovely beer.

Bottle, 2021 vintage. Coffee aroma with notes of chocolate, lactose sugar, vanilla, bourbon and oak flavors. Pours deep brown with a thin mocha brown head that has some retention and a thin ring of lacing. Starts with rich chocolate, lactose sugar and oak flavors as well as having a rich, full body and silky smooth mouthfeel. Finishes quite smooth with coffee, vanilla and bourbon flavors. Excellent.

Bottle. Dark brown color with medium beige head. Aroma of dark chocolate, coffee, vanilla. Taste is coffee, coffee bitterness, milk chocolate, vanilla, nuts, bourbon. Bit boozy. Nice sipper.

Bottle. Malty aroma and taste, light roastyness, coffee, caramel notes, chocolate, vanilla notes, medium bitter, light sweet. Medium to full body, malty choco coffee bitter sweer finish with warming alcohol notes. Good.

Bottle from Beer Republic. Aroma is nuts, dark malt, caramel, bourbon, vanilla, beany coffee. Flavour is medium sweet and mild bitter. Medium body. Wonderfully nutty aroma, some bourbon, body could be a bit more full.

Dark brown with a two-finger, tan head. Aroma is chocolate, coffee and vanilla. Taste more like a milk stout thab a brown ale.

Flavor is sweet, malty, coffee, candy sugar, chocolate, vanille, bourbon, alcohol. Medium body, average carbonation, sweet finish with warming alcohol. 010624

Aus der Flasche (bottled 29.07.2021) im 2024-0x getrunken. Irgendwas stört mich hier an dieser Aromakombination von malzigen Aromen, Kaffee und Bourbon Fässern, obwohl ich eigentlich diese Aromen mag. Aber hier ist es nicht stimmig.
