Ausgewogenes, fein abgestimmtes Vollbier mit vielfältigem Flavour. Viel und feinporiger Schaum. Das Bier ist unfiltriert, aber nahezu blank, duftet malzig und schmeckt karamellig und leicht fruchtig nach vollreifen exotischen Früchten. Eine feine Bittere begleitet das rezente, samtige Mundgefühl zum angenehm ausklingenden Abgang.

Schwach eingetrübte goldene Farbe mit weißer Schaumkrone. Malziger, getreidiger, brotiger, fruchtiger Geruch. Geschmacklich malzig, getreidig, fruchtig, leicht grasig. Mittlere Süße mit mittlerer Bitterkeit, mittlerer Körper mit spürbarer Kohlensäure.

Bottle, 5.0%. Almost clear amber color with creamy eggshell head. Aroma is bready yests, caramely, a touch grassy hopspice, a touch tobacco; so far so standard, typical amber Kellerbier aromas. Taste is a very pleasant surprise: also buttered caramel, earthy, hay, bready, toasted grains and cereal, almost Zoigl-like, medium sweetness (at first - it seems to increase with each sip), with a light grassy hopspice, coming together to form a Süffigkeit that is not possible to describe just with the flavour vocabulary. Slick oily mouthfeel with natural carbonation. The flavours are standard, but it is really well-executed and works together nicely. Almost Franconian in its rusticness, softness and drinkability, but also a tiny bit too sweet.

500 flip top bottle at home shared with gf. Bottled 15.09.2015. BB 31.10.2015. orange almost clear color, medium big off-white head. smells grains, tobacco, light herbs, malty sweetness, light citric notes. medium body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of tobacco, grains, very light sweetness, some herbs. finishes with light herbal bitterness and grains. decent, bitterness on the taste is has a unpleasant side though.
