On tap at DownTime taps, pours a dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma is full of spicy cinnamon upfront, followed by lactose and a touch of roast. Flavour is much the same, with lots of cinnamon and lactose. The malt base is very light, giving way mostly to the cinnamon on the do lay. A bit clumsy but decent enough.

Draft 12 oz pour enjoyed at Route 2, Monroe. Dark, near black appearance with a dark tan cream foam. Big spicy cinnamon nose. Flavor is bold, sweet cream backed, with spicy winter spices, and a floral note. Intense flavor for a milk stout, which tends to be silky smooth on the palate. Cinnamon really spiced this one up. Bonus point for being so unique. Really interesting brew here. Would love to find the oaked version to compare

Bottle from Tavour. Aroma is dominant peppercorn and moderate cacoa. Pours a deep brown with tan head. Foam flowed out of the bottle on opening Flavor is chocolate with the cinnamon showing. Overt lactose. Solid chewy yeast in the back support. A bit spritzy that seems to come from the lactose. A really nice and interesting beer.

Bottle from Tavour. Pours dark brown/black with a huge foamy white head. Not a Guinness pour, just a huge one. Aroma is cinnamon over chocolate. Med body; very smooth. Flavor is strongly cinnamon, with chocolate, toasted malt (mildly toasted) and some non-musty wood notes. Decent flavors. Not overdone. Some brown sugar comes out as the cinnamon dies down.

500ml bottle from Tavour. Dark brown pour, minimal head. Cinnamon is first in the aroma, sweet, brown sugar. Cinnamon leads the taste as well, more brown sugar, light roast malts, a warm cinnamon roll comes to mind. Barrel aging here seems to smooth out the malts. Love the flavors here, mellow, subtle. Really nicely done.
