On tap at the Boise brewery/taproom pours a reddish amber. Lasting tan head and lacing. Resinous hops and malts are a bit amber/toasted. Fermented well, nice clean body. The 9% is noticeable but works well. Touches on barley wine territory. Quite good.

Crowler from CopenRoss. Amber colored pour, filmy, wispy head. Malty, caramel aroma. Malt forward in taste too, hint of sweetness, caramel, some hops at the back. Smooth for 9%.
