A light tasting and drinkable dark lager with subtle roasted malts. Released during a time where we patiently wait for the winds and waves to be steadied.

On tap at the Boise taproom. Medium dark brown pour full off white head. Some light toasted malt aromas, woody and of dry grass and more light roast malts in the flavor. Clean dry finish. Not very “schwartzy” but punchier than a brown. Decent “tweener”

Crowler from brewery. Dark, dark amber, but clear, spotty beige head. Aroma is toasty malts, faint sweet notes. Taste comes across thin, watery, then sweet elements, light roadt and mild bitterness. Not much different from the brown ale I just rated.
