Sample at Denver Rare Beer Tasting XVI (Last Call) on 10/09/2025. Dark copper pour with a medium thin light beige head that diminishes steadily to an outer ring. Short strings of lace. Malty and fruity aroma with yeast in the background. Full-bodied with flavors of caramel malt, dark fruit and earthy yeast. Slightly oxidized on the finish with a fruity and malty aftertaste. Still don't know what "decocted" means but a good beer either way.

16oz can at share. Dark, clear brown. Super malty aroma and taste. Notes of tobacco, sweetness and plenty of booze.

16oz can pours out amber topped with a small sand head. Nose sweet pit caramel malts and some spice. Taste is more of the nice sweet pit fruit a little metalic.
