We painstakingly researched, perfected, and brewed a special batch of Black Treacle just for this beer. Then we aged Den Haag in rare, sought-after Blanton's Bourbon barrels, all creating an extremely delicious and memorable character.

That's some thick boozy raisinet flavor, almost straight bourbon soaked raisinets. Some malty molasses. Serious lingering heat but tasty thick molasses.

Can from Tavour. Pours dark mahogany with a slight, very transient, tan head. Aroma of dark fruit and treacle. Full bodied. Not dry, but not sticky. Flavor of dark fruit, treacle, brown sugar, heat/whiskey and wood notes. Quite delicious in a sippin' way.

Bomber shared by my daughter Shannon. Nose is oaky vanilla, toffee, molasses, and a hint of tobacco. Clear dark brown with a medium, lightly lacing, cinnamon head. Flavor is vanilla, bourbon, and toffee.

Bomber from Tavour. Dark brown, opaque, syrupy pour. Boozy aroma, chocolate, woody, vanilla, molasses. The first two aspects of the taste are the burn and the sweetness. Vanilla, raisins, figs, bourbon. A smidge of nail polish remover. Sipper.
