What can be better than coffee and beer? Friendship and community! This coffee brown ale is a celebration of the Swedish practice of Fika (fee-ka). Fika is a break in the middle of the day to drink quality coffee and eat delicious pastries while enjoying the company of friends or colleagues. Fika is a very important Swedish cultural ritual. We’re celebrating by bringing an aspect of fika into our beer! Bad Motha-Fika starts with a rush of coffee flavor provided by Dawson Taylor cold brew followed by notes of walnut, cocoa, and biscuit. If you really want to get in the fika spirit this beer pairs well with cinnamon rolls, donuts, almond croissants, banana bread, and chocolate muffins!

12 oz crowler from Craft Brewers. Dark brown body, clear, but too dark to see through. Nutty aroma with a hint of coffee. Woody, nutty flavors, light coffee and a nice bitter finish.

On tap at the Boise Brewery/taproom clear deep brown with redish edges Full soft light tan head. Classic medium toasted malts and a touch of coffee. Fairly robust and sturdy brown ale. Good

On tap pours out crisp clean cola brown topped with a fluffy sand head. Nose is sweet malts and some crisp coffee notes. Taste is more of the nice sweet chocolate malts and a coffee bean kick.
