Bottled. A golden beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of straw and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw and malt, leading to a bitter finish.

50 cl bottle as the 'Spezial' version poured in to a Dimpled mug. Clear golden colour with a thin white head. Sweet aroma hay, pale malts and floral hoppy notes. Taste is light sweet. Medium bodied, fine carbonated. Drying fruity finish with bread and grasses. Nice Festbier.

--Sample, thanks oh6gdx! -- Clear golden, mid sized head. Bready malt aroma. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Bready with mustard seeds and spicy grass. Mid bitter finish.

ABV: 5.6%. Clear medium yellow colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, cookie, pale malt, marzipan malt, bread, light flowers - honey. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, bread, malty, sweet malt, pale malt, marzipan malt, flowers - nectar - honey. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. (Bottle, 0.5 l - BB 04.05.2022, from Alko, 20210826) The beer poured golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had grass, grain, sweetness and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, grain, sweetness, lightly biscuits, clean notes of malts and medium bitterness. Aftertaste had malts, biscuits and bitterness. A pleasant grassy brew with malty notes.

Õlle on selline jook, et iga uus kord kui klaasi või pudeli suule tõstad, siis leiad midagi uut, sõltuvalt tuhandest-miljonist pisiasjast, mis hetke olukorda mõjutavad. Seega piirdun iga õlle juures selle tekstiga.

getrunken als Weltenburger Spezial -Festbier Ein schön vollmundiges Bier mit feinen Gewürznoten und einer leichten Hopfenbittere. Als Festbier im Sinne eines Bieres für Sonn- und Feiertage kann ich es mir gut vorstellen, aber öfters brauche ich es auch nicht.

13/6/2021. Bottle courtesy of Boris. Cheers! As Weltenburger Kloster Spezial Festbier. Strange choice as a beer pre-England Euro’s kick-off but will choose more patriotically next. Pours clear golden with a frothy white head. Aroma is sweet, malt, corn, citrus, caramel, hint of honey. Medium sweetness and light bitterness. Medium body, average carbonation. Went down well. Hopefully England won’t too.
