Brewed in collaboration with The Queer Brewing project, Goose Goose is a super refreshing Grisette, ideal for the summertime. A rustic malt bill of pilsner, wheat and vienna provide a subtle bready backbone for the notes of apple, pear and pepper from our house saison strain. The gooseberries add a complex array flavours and provide the beer with a grassy aroma and tart and refreshing finish. Complex, dry and highly drinkable.

Keg at Goose Island Brew Pub, Shoreditch, 15/11/19. Lightly hazed e pale yellow with a decent white cap. Nose is lemon rind, faint piss, toasted grains, straw, mellow farmyard nip. Taste comprises lemon rind, grass, tangy fruit rinds, light base funk. Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, semi drying close with a tangy citric twist. Not bad.
